06 - Coarse salt or chili-salt, for rimming glasses
07 - Fresh lime wedges
08 - Watermelon wedges or balls
09 - Ice cubes

# Directions:

01 - Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass. Dip rims in coarse salt or chili-salt blend. Set aside.
02 - In a blender, combine watermelon cubes, lime juice, orange juice, agave syrup, and sliced jalapeño. Blend until completely smooth.
03 - Taste the mix; adjust sweetness and spice by adding more agave or jalapeño as desired.
04 - Fill glasses with ice cubes. Strain the watermelon mixture through a fine mesh sieve (optional, for a smoother texture) and pour over the ice.
05 - Garnish with lime wedges, jalapeño slices, and watermelon pieces. Serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Bursting with juicy freshness, it’s like sipping a summer memory—without the hangover.
  • This mocktail lets everyone join the toast, and its bright colors make any table feel celebratory.
02 -
  • Once, I thought more jalapeño would be better, but it quickly tipped from pleasantly spicy to ‘where’s my water?’—start small!
  • Straining the watermelon mix isn’t necessary, but the first time I tried it, guests raved about how silky the mocktail became.
03 -
  • Dice the watermelon into small cubes to make blending easier and prevent overworking your blender.
  • Always add the jalapeño a slice at a time—waiting a minute between tastes to let the heat build before adding extra.
